Offense

Pitching
— Chase Philibotte 5-1 1 Save 1.29 ERA 66K 43.1 IP

Coach’s comment: “The Generals are coming off an outstanding season, but will need to replace a lot of innings in the pitching rotation. Philibotte remains one of the top right-handed pitchers in the state, but Stark will need some support from seniors Hayden Pond and Joey Dykstra, as well as juniors Aidan Williams and Ben LaBrecque. The offense should be stronger with 10 players returning who had a great summer and off-season of development. The loss of Division II Player of the Year Anthony Paolicelli will be tough to fill, but the line-up should be stronger after all the players had strong summer seasons and hit the weight room hard this off-season. Juniors Harris, Williams and Parker LaClair should provide a lot of hitting in top six roles this spring. Juniors Tobin Prieto and Travis Lisofsky also return as versatile players with good defensive skill. Top newcomer Freshman Desmond Bogle brings elite speed and athleticism to a very tight-knit group that should be competitive once again this season. Philibotte and senior Ryder Brown will serve as team captains. Depth will be provided by Ryan Nagle, Jayden Bishop, TK Lorentz and Des Bogle.

“Division II will have a lot of parity this season. St. Thomas and Souhegan appear to be towards the top of that at the moment, but there are plenty of teams with elite pitchers and very good line-ups that will make this year very competitive.”
