Outlook/Coach’s Comment: “Our pitching has some depth on the mound with Wheaton College-bound Alex Noel leading the staff with Jackson McCoy, Luke Russell and Devon Lapierre all showing good signs in the early going. Ken Healy, Gavin Hills, Brady Mourgenos, Andrew Rapoza and Peter Solbo will all see time on the mound as well.

“We will need leadership from the seniors to keep us steady and focused until the new athletes grow accustomed to the schedule and pace. Leadership and youth improvement will be key for us to be successful.

“We think we can score this season as Dario Ceppetelli and Andrew Rapoza have been swinging the bat well. All players will have to produce to the level of our expectations immediately as our depth can make for some changes and adjustments if needed.

“I believe the outlook for Division I is intriguing with the schedule format. We play tough seacoast teams that have many returning athletes like Winnacunnet and of course there is perennial powers Exeter and Portsmouth in our region as well and we love the rivalry games with Spaulding as they are always exciting. We hope to be playing at our best come tournament time and if so, we hope to surprise some people.”
