Hewett’s not off base

Greenland resident Calvin Hewett, an outfielder in his junior season at Vanderbilt, enters the weekend tied for fifth among NCAA Divsion I players in stolen bases this season. Hewett, who played at Portsmouth High School, is 6 for 6 in stolen base attempts in nine games.
