Division IV Tournament Bracket
Newmarket will be attempting to reach the Division IV championship game for the fifth consecutive season. The Mules lost to Littleton in the 2018 Division IV championship game; beat Pittsfield to win the championship in 2019; beat Littleton in the 2021 title game; and lost to Sunapee in last year’s Division IV final. There was no season in 2020. … Littleton’s A.J. Bray was selected as the Division IV Coach of the Year. … Gorham enters the semifinals on a 14-game winning streak. Gorham’s only loss came against Littleton (4-3). … Newmarket has won 12 in a row and has limited its opponents to nine runs in the last nine games. … Sunapee graduated seven seniors from the team that won last year’s championship. … Both of Littleton’s losses came against White Mountains, the No. 3 seed in Division III (8-6 and 9-3). … Gorham hasn’t advanced past the semifinals since 2014, when it dropped a 6-5 decision to Sunapee in the Division IV title game. … Littleton did not play Sunapee during the regular season. …. The Crusaders have scored at least 10 runs in 12 games this season, and have scored 31 runs in their two tournament games. … Gorham’s Chase Carder was named the Division IV Player of the Year.
