Grant Lavigne went 2 for 4 with a double in his Triple-A debut Saturday to help the Albuquerque Isotopes defeat the El Paso Chihuahuas 6-5.
Lavigne, a Bedford resident, played first base and hit seventh in the batting order. He also scored a run.
Lavigne did not play Friday, when Albuquerque — Colorado’s Triple-A affiliate in the Pacific Coast League — lost to El Paso, 6-5.
Lavigne hit .227 with 17 home runs and 51 RBIs in 445 at-bats with the Double-A Hartford Yard Goats of the Eastern League last season.
He was selected as New Hampshire’s Gatorade Player of the Year during his sophomore and senior seasons at Bedford High School.
