Loiseau headed to Dayton

Former Southern New Hampshire University head coach Scott Loiseau will reportedly be named the next head coach at Dayton, where he would replace former head coach Jayson King.

King, who spent 17 seasons as Franklin Pierce’s head coach, resigned following the 2024 season to become an assistant coach at Vanderbilt. King led the Ravens to 10 Northeast-10 Conference Championships, seven NCAA Northeast Regional appearances and seven trips to the NCAA Division II College World Series.

Loiseau resigned as SNHU’s head coach after the 2023 season to become an assistant coach at Penn State.

Loiseau, who played for King at Franklin Pierce, served as SNHU’s head coach from 2008 to 2014, and from 2016 to 2023. He was the recruiting coordinator at Oklahoma in 2015.

Loiseau led SNHU to five NCAA Division II College World Series appearances (including three-straight), eight East Regional finals (including seven-straight) and 11 straight NCAA Tournament appearances.
