Lowell’s Fish honored by America East

BOSTON, Mass. – UMass-Lowell infielder Brandon Fish (Londonderry, N.H.) was named the America East Player of the Week by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.
Fish, a Senior captain, posted two multi-hit efforts last weekend, finishing 6 for 9 (.667) at the plate in three games to help propel the River Hawks to a 2-1 record. He also scored four runs and collected three RBIs, adding three doubles and one home run to his stat line.
Against Mercyhurst, Fish was 3 for 3 at bat, posting a home run and a double, while scored one run and driving in two. In the game versus Ball State, he finished with three runs and one RBI on two hits.
